An online chess clock is a digital timer designed for over-the-board (OTB) games between two players. It ensures that neither player takes too long to think, making games fair and exciting. Whether you are playing casual games in the park, hosting a tournament, or engaging in a fierce bullet match with a friend, our free chess clock provides precise, professional-grade timing.
Place your tablet or mobile device flat on the table next to the chessboard. Click the gear icon to set the desired time limit and optional increment for the game. When white makes a move, they tap their colored area on the screen, which instantly stops their timer and starts black's timer. If a timer reaches 00:00, that player loses on time!
